Fascinating glacial archaeology! 🏺🧊🧐 Around 158 CE, ~50 carefully crafted lanceolate stakes (of unknown use) were placed or left on or near the Forcle pass (2,543 m asl)! ⛏️ Use of the pass was not linked to variations in ice extent (LIA wood also found there) journals.openedition.org/gallia/9888
