Enter the tricycle, though I’m still pretty young (78) switching to an e-trike has allowing me to park the car. Took a bit of time to create a services structure within a reasonable cycling radius, but is now working very well. Keeps me fit and fun too! (Spend well - avoid cheap e-trikes)
