The desire for a flat UI has never been higher #iOS27

they be innovating backwards

WTF is that Liquid Glass slider??? 50% of it does hardly anything. Just admit that it was a stupid design direction and give us a flat design toggle already!

To mess up your UI for forced iteration is one thing. To do the same on an emergency UI is a whole different level of delusion. Nnot only does it look like vibecoded malware. It lacks its main point: being visually clear in an emergency. #iOS27 emergency screen (5 taps on power button)

What comes close: Cloudron on a vps + their Managed WP installation. It auto-updates, the app is read-only and plug-in/theme editing is disabled. Cloudron is free for up to two apps but it has some overhead of course since it is a Docker-based server administration thingy.

No, Anthropic is not welcome in the Blender community which is - in numbers - the majority compared to you. Don't make such stupid decisions in behalf of us all. You can do better.

Unpopular opinion but the carousel is superior for visual linear content delivery. It works well on Threads. The 2 to 4 image grid is an insult.

Redundancy is not new to passkeys. Rely on a synced password database app with Autofill for both and it really does not make any difference, password or passkey. KeePassXC (Windows, macOs, Linux) Keepassium (iOS, macOS) KeePassDX (Android) Sync via a cloud of your choice. It's e-2-encrypted.

My take is that said people are neurotypical, thus lack a natural drive for it and/or have a authoritative understanding of the world, like it's the case in conservative milieus. Combine with creativity inhibiting education and gender-role determinism and you have your sapio-nihilists.
