When I told my grandpa I liked the A's in 1972, he "corrected" me. The White Sox played about 30 miles from the grocery store he and my grandma owned. He said I would be a Sox fan because it was "good for local business." I have complied ever since.

I don't love dunking on folks but it's so fucking funny to me that Trump was convicted of 34 felonies 2 years ago, faced no punishment, and went on to win the presidency a second time and journalists are still like, "hmm, I have an inkling that maybe he believes he's above the law for some reason."
