Well I stuck with STUART FAILS TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE to the end of season 1 - helped by episodes that last about nine minutes - and it really is the dullest, least imaginative sf tv series ever made. It's like they went out their way to make the most cliche ridden show possible.

Oh, I've no problem with it being sold at half-time - I've been to plenty of English games in recent years and happily had a pint and a chat at HT - but the current thing with Burnham is about beer being available throughout the game and having pints in your seat. Which is - imo - a terrible idea.

There's more chemistry between Mack and Bretton than there is in series one with Dodds, so it improves quite quickly, but my favourite series are the ones with Lucy's posh parents and Lee's dad, played by Bobby Ball.

Listening to the last couple of decades of Zombies albums - and they're probably the 60s band who ended up churning out the least interesting later LPs. Everything new since 'New World' (to be fair, supposedly a contractual obligation/protect the band name sort of thing) has been basically awful.

That sounded snarky when it wasn’t supposed to be - it’s a genuine question. One arrest - as yet without further action - for a well known right wing criminal who live-streamed himself slashing a dinghy is neither action by Burnham nor indicative of action against all the other right wing crims.
