Yet another reason to keep this iteration of the Conservative Party from gaining any power. They are shockingly ignorant.

There was a council election recently up in Northumberland. Labour won with 38.8% in the Amble Ward. Reform 33.5% Conservative 21.0% Restore Britain 6.7% Those figures sadden me immensly.

So, how to combat them? They use misinformation and racism to turn disillusioned and ignorant people to their cause. How do you beat that? You can't educate stupid out of people.

Whilst discussing this you are not discussing policies whereby Democrats will help Texans and Republicans will not. That's falling into Republican's trap yet again.

It would not surprise me at all if he won. Fairly and legally too.

It just goes to show that if your lunatic fringe take over your Party once, then that's it. The Party's over!

Why don't the readers of The Daily Express, The Sun, the Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Times, and the Sunday Telegraph sue those newspapers for continually lying to them? Tricky case, expensive though it could be as Group Litigation Orders? They aren't going to stop lying.

the story about the ULEZ bomber, a white bloke in his 60s, still isn’t on the front page of the BBC News when it feels like quite a big story about online radicalisation & violence

Yes. They'll have it up quick too, no waiting around for 2000 years.

They should re=build it - that's not keeping anyone out (or in). Shoddy work. I'd expect more from the Romans.

Now rewatching. Absolutely superb series, brilliantly written, directed, cast and acted with some career defining performances. For me, the best are Purefoy as Anthony with his effortless combination of mesmerising charm and menace, and Ian McNeice as the Newsreader. But every performance is great.

I really like those dresses for some reason. A potential future mother-in-law of mine might be wearing one of them too. I think I might've seen curtains in the same style too.

Sadly, they will front load a lot of it. It would be fun if they left it until after the mid terms.

Why are you listening to what she says? Would you hang on every word a mad person on the street shouted through their frothing mouth? Apologies comparing them to her too.

I simply don't understand why people rarely consider being a Hollywood star or an elite professional sportsperson. I hear they offer fantastic financial incentives.

Swaddled in coats, but not too big. Replete in jumper, chunky socks. My hair grows longer now. Warm strands of my lower hair, to keep warm my neck. Heck! It's cold. But now winter comes, and Autumn Leaves. Alan Partridge

And yet it is not bleak like the midwinter It is not unforgiving. So let us stay a while here. Replete in the clemency of autumn.

How melancholic, the brown sludge of fallen autumn leaves Gone, the crunch underfoot, Now the squelch of rain-sodden brown, How sad, how triste, this season 'twixt summer, not yet winter.

Autumn Leaves How sad, the falling of leaves of autumn. How melancholic, the passing autumn, half 'twixt summer and winter.

The buildings were used to construct always seem to look nicer and on a more human scale. That they may have been cold and damp is neither here nor there. That can obviously be improved upon. Like breakfasts have. Though fried bread is very moreish.

Did I post that I've now branched out into buying Canadian booze to go with baying Canadian Maple Syrup? Well I have. Canadian Club Whisky - not your best, but the one I've heard of. I think Don Draper may have drank some. Next will be a smooth whisky with no bite (and incipient alcoholism)

I learnt tonight about a person that has blagged their way to an interesting and remunerative career by lying. I would never lie on my CV as a youth. I was too afraid. This guy made up qualifications he knew no one could check as the university switched to digital. Even that sounds made up!

Poor Esther. That's Life always seemed a bit meh to me, but I watched. I feel bad for her in that she couldn't off herself as she wished. You have to time that kind of thing well. Poor Esther.
