Yapping over TF2 voice comms is so much fun, I love this game to bits ❤️ I always get very excited, and I also scream everytime I die. Been playing a lot of Medic despite him being my least played class, and I usually have a lot of fun healing my team and tanking damage with the Crusader’s Crossbow.

I’ve done nothing but play Pokémon on the GBA for 3 and a half months. Here’s when I beat LeafGreen on February 1st, got FireRed and then Emerald shortly thereafter. I’m till playing them, despite me beating the story in all 3 games.

I’ve been thinking of making some random scripted scenes on one of my #jbmod / #gmod maps, and I’ve made 2-3 so far. Here’s one of them. I was planning on adding triggers to hallways that make citizens spawn behind corners then start speaking ill of the company they’re working for. That kinda stuff

Many fantastic people have been visiting JBMod over the past 2 days (because Half-Life 2 became free on its anniversary) and it’s been awesome having people back on. We reached a peak player count of 43 according to steamdb charts and that’s CERTAINLY NOT something that’s happened for years!🥹 #hl2

JBMod’s player activity charts on steamdb.info, showing the previous 24 hour peak of 43 players. Such high numbers pretty much haven’t been seen since JBMod’s initial steam release.
This is abnormal behavior caused by the Half-Life 2 20th Anniversary updates making HL2 free…

(This is also the peak over for the past 30 days, and in fact it hasn’t gotten past at most 18 players since November 2023, where it somehow spiked to 84 peak players online? Such high numbers haven’t been seen since release, not even November 2022 (a month after JBMod’s initial release) had such high numbers!)

Here’s most of what this looked like btw. I didn’t really have everything that the rebels have, but I think it turned out pretty well anyway! :3 The vest is held closed by two straps taken from an old backpack that latch together on the side (barely visible). I’ve also painted the vest and armband.

The outfit consist of an olive-green buttoned shirt, blue jeans, an olive-green beanie, a belt around the waist, a “custom-sewn” black vest (which was hastily crafted out of T-shirts and foam padding over the course of 1 week) with a white square painted on the middle, a black armband with a Lambda symbol on it (which also has foam padding sewn onto the inside of it).

The outfit is missing certain details from the original Rebel design, such as ammo pouches on the back and extra armor padding around the inner thighs.

The torso and the left arm are the only things visible in the picture, leaving most of the costume unseen.

You know, I really like the simplicity of most characters in the Half-Life franchise and TF2 from a cosplay perspective. Almost all of their outfits have a basis in actual clothing which you can easily acquire or modify in real life, which makes them a fantastic choice for beginners and budgeting.
