Think that’s it, admittedly dredged up some very specific feelings when I saw how excuses and exceptions passed over my feed. Any anger there is left squarely in the lap of the perpetrator, cuz all that discussion is what victims bounce in their head all the time.

I’m keeping it relatively blunt and direct because every instinct to do otherwise undercuts the point. Safety must come first, and I hate our world where a victim must mitigate their trauma whilst a perpetrator need not mitigate their risk factor.

There’s a lot if talk about the shades of grey with time, with distance, with healing. Anyone who knows me would know I ain’t going to be absolute on what is good and what is bad. If a rapist cannot concede influence as something he should not have, he cannot be trusted.
