The bill has been opened to feedback. Rather than dooming about the proposal, you can tell them exactly how you feel about the act here. ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet... With how much of an uphill battle Chat Control is having, you should never assume it's worthless to fight these draconian bills.

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

CSP being pressed to take even just /kissing/ off their asset store and FA being told that plus sized characters are considered adult should be a giant waving red flag to folks. Sex workers have /always/ been right to say these policies never stop with 1 type of content. They always wanna ban more.

The loss of FA would be incalculable to the community, there's artwork of people long passed who I don't think are shared anywhere else or those sites too have gone under, I hope the situation doesn't come to needing to shut down the site

There's a spread of varying feelings for FA, myself included, but it would not be an exagerration to say that the loss of FA would be /tremendous/. FA is a major- if not THE pillar of the furry community's online presence. It has been the single longest standing space, since before social media.

A lot of people assume FA is profitable. If that were the case we wouldn't have needed a GFM when Neer passed to keep it out of probate. It's been two years. The funds were used. FA is struggling financially. And I am 🌟s t r e s s e d🌟 I'm scared to ask for help, I feel like no matter how much-

Lil Misses (the cat, not her name) is so -loudly- quiet. She's recently been making noises more, but her go-to tactic is to exude p r e s e n c e. Like staring you down, placing herself juuust in your peripheral, scooting up increasingly closer to you. Or starts causing trouble (knocking things off)

It was 4 weeks on Monday (a month today, by date) since our little mans went on his next adventure. I thought I'd been doing okay, but when I saw a pic of another's ferret earlier today, something about it caused a deep welling up and it wracked through me. I miss him. so much.
