I never claimed they were the same conflict. I claimed that in the axis of blameless defender (Ukraine) to aggressor (Russia), Iran is closer in the current Iranian conflict to Ukraine's position.

Iran has done bad things in its history, even recent history, sure, but they did not start this escalation and conflict, the Israel/US axis did. Iran is not innocent, but it is way closer to Ukraine than Russia, if we are drawing parallels.

The thing is that what these measures do is establish and implement a framework that then in the future can be used for stronger age verification instead of attestation. Not justifying any harassing or anything but it is not a nothing burger, its a starting point.

Its sometimes the only option for smaller non Linux platforms due to driver infrastructure centralization, smaller requirements, higher performance... Very rarely in tech there is changes without caveats, its all tradeoffs! You'd do well recognizing this if you want to be serious about computing.

This is good news. Wayland sadly has massive compatibility issues with non Linux platforms thanks to the offloading of driver infrastructure to the WM, which encourages lesser compat by smaller teams.

I made the silly mistake of being distracted before writing the else error statement in an unusual case where the happy path was best upfront. Ada SPARKs Bronze mode wuth warnings off ensuring an out was initialised in all paths made me spot it. Such a cool tool #programming #software_engineering
