I made the silly mistake of being distracted before writing the else error statement in an unusual case where the happy path was best upfront. Ada SPARKs Bronze mode wuth warnings off ensuring an out was initialised in all paths made me spot it. Such a cool tool #programming #software_engineering

AdaCore not only provides a free IDE for the Ada Language but they fix bugs fast. Caveat: Community releases only happen once a year or so. So the bug is fixed upstream but won't land in a community release for a while.
