I think a lot of people think the point of sports is that your team will win and then you will be happy. That is not the point of sports. The point of sports is to be sad in a group

games like this duke/carolina game make me really miss theo john. what an absolute DOG he was on defense, just brash and in your business and in your head before you even know it. can we get him back on the squad before the NCAA fixes the rules or

Oh hi, been a minute. My bad. We are back, and starting the comeback with a rousing GTHC 😈💙

Happy draft day to all who celebrate. If the Mavs don’t handle Cooper Flagg’s career perfectly, I am considering it an act of war.

I am never going to emotionally recover from watching Hali scream and pound the floor after his injury last night. I have many complaints about the game itself, but the top one is that it just sucks to lose the brightest star of the playoffs in the biggest game of the season. Get well soon, Hali!

The Pacers/Thunder game last night was honestly incredible. A superstar coming back while actively injured after he and his team slept through the last game only to play the tightest, most beautiful game of the series was absolute cinema. God bless basketball.

LMAOOOO. I wish, maybe then Coop would’ve stayed.

010

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

I know the Lakers are perhaps the most valuable franchise in history, $10 billion is just an unfathomable amount of money to me.

130

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

It’s a shell of what it used to be, honestly. Basically only the cover story is ever worth reading, and I really only follow their IG to see highlights. Also, agreed unfortunately. Dallas simply cannot be trusted with anything ever.

010

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

Cooper Flagg is ready for the league. I know people have high expectations for him, but I really think with the right team and right situation, he’ll surpass them all. @ Dallas Mavericks, do not fuck this up for me.

140

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

It really didn’t LOL. Ah well, we’re getting good hoops (when Foster doesn’t interfere at least)

It’s nice to know it’s not just normal markets that are inflated, it’s also the NBA trade market. Bane is NOT worth all of this wtf

I love the Magic rebrand in every way, EXCEPT the font. Soulless corporate loser ass font.

I am a reasonable and mature person. Sometimes.

110

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

This is also my fault, I turned the game off for a bit to get cute videos of my friend’s baby and clearly that canceled out my good juju.

110

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

Casty’s slutty little unbuttoned jersey will always be my favorite thing.

000

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

Clearly I fucked up, I should’ve planned my flights around the game times

110

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

Phillies just needed me to watch in order to play correctly, apparently.

130

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 31/05/2025

Wearing an Eagles jacket while I travel today. The woman next to me on my flight tapped me on the shoulder to say she loves my jacket, because even though she’s a Cowboys fan, “Jason Kelce is the best human to ever touch a football.” Adorable lol

YES I NEED DRE ON THAT BENCH. I do love his tweets though, he’s SUCH a fan and i love how much he loves it all.

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

Awww. Love Ty, that is a great addition. We’ll get Quinn eventually, I just know it :P

110

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

Theo would also make me happy, I just love Quinn sooooo much 😭 I feel like he’s destined for coaching, too, he’s just such a good leader and such a DOG.

Multiple NBA teams IRL; I am a Duke girl first and foremost so I’ve got NBA merch for my favorite boys no matter where they ended up in the league. Buying that Cooper Flagg Mavs jersey is going to hurt me real bad tho.

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 29/05/2025

Hearing rumblings of Scheyer adding a member of the brotherhood to the coaching staff, and I am hoping with all my heart that it’s Quinn Cook. One of the best humans to ever wear a Duke jersey, he embodies everything about what the brotherhood stands for and I would LOVE to have him home.

A Thunder-Pacers NBA Finals is the ultimate “Do you know ball?” litmus test. If you are excited about said matchup, congratulations! You know ball. If you are too preoccupied with TV ratings to enjoy said matchup, sadly, you do not know ball.

Every time I see people use AI generated art, especially of themselves, it gives me the ick SOOO bad.

I had one of those super boring and realistic dreams last night where I was digging through a pile of my clothes and came across a couple of Celtics shirts that I bought because they were on sale, and the only way I knew it was a dream and not real life was bc I hadn’t cropped the shirts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 26/05/2025

I was SO surprised by that. I know it was a pretty small sample size, but Hali doesn’t seem talked about enough to be overrated, especially within the context of the Eastern Conference.

010

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 26/05/2025

Man. Haliburton is SO likable. He started the season rough, but I feel like he’s really found his groove on the court and I LOVE seeing how his confidence has evolved and how he now looks for the shot just as much as, if not more than, he looks for the pass.

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 25/05/2025

Jon is quickly establishing himself as the best recruiter college basketball has ever seen, imo. Just brilliant roster construction and always a plan brewing. Sooo glad he’s our coach.

010

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 25/05/2025

Heh. No yeah, we’ll be just fine, I’m just greedy 😌

010

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 24/05/2025

Cedric Coward is staying in the NBA draft and you really can’t blame the kid, he’s set himself up for success and there’s no guarantee he’ll get enough minutes at Duke to put him in a better position next year. Would’ve loved to have him, but will root for him in the league as if he had come anyways

200

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 24/05/2025

I do, sorry! I’ve been traveling a ton and neglecting bluesky. I’ll get back in it 🫡

110

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 07/05/2025

I know the Warriors will be fine, but reading this has me GUTTED. Steph loves this so much, man. I would do anything for him to be healthy and be a god in the playoffs.

140

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

Thinking about how on Friday night this guy was being utterly relentless about hitting on me for hours... until he made the mistake of bringing up basketball and said Steph is overrated. Let me tell you, that man will have no fond thoughts about me now. 😌💙

As a Harden hater, all I can do is giggle nefariously.

130

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

James Harden with a classic James Harden game tonight eh? Disappearing in the playoffs is quintessential Harden.

I will be missing the Dubs game tonight but I am begging them to just close this shit out PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

Submitted my final project for grad school, and now I just need the Warriors to come through for me today and I’ll be happy 🙏🏻

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

Listening to Cedric Coward talk about why he chose Duke makes him instantly a favorite for me going into the season. He’s so thoughtful and intentional, and he really sees the vision. LFG.

Nicole @strangermiracle.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

Seeing Jimmy Butler happy, praising his teammates, hitting clutch shots. Mah heart.
