Set up a band in Our Notes with only heal skills to try and brute force an Expert clear on Abracadabra for the limited mission, only to get hit by a hold (with multiple flicks) zigzagging across the entire screen and taps coming on alternating sides. They did NOT make this chart for thumb players.

A massive comment block in the Basketball weapon code for Reelism 2. It reads, in part:

"Abandon hope, all ye who enter the Splot_BasketballProjectile section!

During the Early Excess period for Reelism 2, the Basketball was extremely prone to crashing. This was probably the most frequent piece of feedback that we received. We tried many, many, many times to fix it, and for that reason, I must tell you the story of what happened.

The Basketball was originally split between two objects: a projectile actor, which handled the collisions with monsters and geometry, and a WeaponGiver actor with a larger radius, which is what the player picked up and made the ball easier to grab in the air. This configuration ran into an issue where, randomly, GZDoom would crash immediately after the ball was thrown or dunked. The problem stuck around for months, even persisting into the first public release of Reelism 2, much to our frustration.

As far as we can tell, the underlying problem was related to how the two Basketball actors would need to constantly reference each other. If one actor was removed from play in the middle of the other actor's script, there was a chance that GZDoom would crash by trying to reference the properties of an object that didn't exist anymore. We could never get the two actors in sync, no matter how many safeguards we added.

The obvious solution to this problem was to combine the two Basketball objects into one actor, which is what you'll see below. However, I was reluctant to do this at first, because we would lose the expanded WeaponGiver hitbox. The Basketball is a pretty small object, so I was hestitant to cut that feature.

I started to implement the trimmed-down version of the Basketball on the evening of December 2, 2020 when the solution dawned on me: We could still use a hitbox actor, as long as it did NOTHING."

From what I can tell, there's a single rainstorm that you can trigger in the Pumkin Patch, and the general consensus seems to be that that's the trigger. Gaming chat app Discord has suffered another user data breach, with a suspected 1 million email addresses stolen alongside (potentially many more) user IDs and IP addresses. While Discord was not targeted directly, third party security service Double Counter have reported a "deliberate, multi-stage attack" wherein hackers spent nearly six hours poking around their infrastructure before the vulnerability was closed.

Double Counter essentially acts as a bouncer bot for Discord servers, promising to detect and block unsanctioned alt accounts and prevent hostile 'raids' by large groups of malicious users. While its efficacy in that mission is debated by Discord users, and the service has previously been accused of selling user data for revenue, the fact is that Double Counter can collect and store personal info of the users that visit its 'protected' servers. Info that, now, has been partly or entirely nicked by Internet miscreants.

By Double Counter’s own estimates, around 1 million user email addresses have been affected, with databases of Discord IDs, usernames, IP addresses, and even location info for up to 28 million users also "partly" copied by the hackers. Security breach trackers Have I Been Pwned further report that 275,000 of the pinched emails and usernames have since been posted publicly.
