Back in 2020, dominated by the racial strife of the George Floyd murder, my contribution to that conversation, here in our nerdy little corner of the internet, argued why video games owe Black players more than just talk. The video game industry’s issues surrounding race and representation are too deep to address with a handful of diplomatic tweets. We’re now saying out loud problems that existed unspoken for years. But we should also propose solutions.
