I don't even think it's people copying him, I think he lowered game standards and other developers realized his success and studied why that was. Also, Druckmann and The Last of Us have a lot of prestige at modern-Sony, so they were likely looking to him and his work for some development guidance.

As someone who received something packaged like that: don't do it unless there's actual packaging (bubble wrap, any kind of cushion) or those Blu-Rays and games will shatter and damage the actual game

I also don't understand the need to generate reference material because Crazy Taxi is very popular. Hell, there's tons of official former Crazy Taxi art they could've used... as well as a ton of artists inspired by SEGA's Y2K Dreamcast era.

For the record: I'm not gonna jump and buy an XBOX just because Kojima's on their platform. Of course, I'm also a fan of games and him as a creator (pfp) so I'm biased. But I don't think Kojima had an easy choice. I'm fine sticking with PC, but even then we've gotta play ball with corpos. It sucks.

People need to eat and this is a studio who got dropped and needed funding fast. It's not just create or not create, sadly. You worked at Epic and Bungie, two companies that have received a lot of criticism for a variety of anti-consumer practices. Not saying you're at fault, but creators need food
