I am still close to A0 in Estonian and Hungarian tho' But the few "grammar" points I have verified still seem to support the idea I mostly focus on what is common at the start, that makes learning much easier I think it is called something like cross-linguistic heritage or transfer, sth like that

Beware, in my classification I talk as if Turkish was in the Uralic branch. But I do not say this! I just say that, following #polyglot piece of advise, Finnish & Turkish work strikingly the same way. Sufficiently so, that at my beginner level I can hold them as the very same kind of language

Yes, I roughly treat Turkish, Finnish, Estonian and Hungarian as the same language, at novice level. Only words are different But I have mostly progressed in Finnish for now. It seems to be the one I can read the most easily compared to Estonian (still super close to Finnish), Hungarian and Turkish

I dont differenciate polysynthetic from multisynthetic. The only real polysynth language I try to study is Greenlandic Inuit, but I have only a pair courses Turkish seems to be considered agglutinative rather than polysynthetic I assume it means that not all constructions are accepted usable words

Just a friendly reminder that plague is prevalent, including in the western United States (see, prairie dogs), with multiple cases annually. It is also highly treatable and, yes, lab acquired infections (incl. fatal cases) have happened over the years, including e.g., UChicago.
