TX GOP candidate Bo French wants you to think South Asian Americans at a football game are a "problem" but don't fall for his racist scapegoating. This is the real issue: When public figures use their platform to spew hate, it normalizes cruel stereotypes & can provoke hate against everyday people.

AAPIs are one of the fastest-growing voting populations in the country, yet they remain among the most overlooked by political campaigns. A small number of votes could determine who holds power in Congress — and AAPI voters can make the difference in competitive congressional districts nationwide.
A poster titled "AAPI House Calls" features an illustration of a telephone with a cord. The text highlights that nearly half of AAPI voters reported not being contacted by major political parties in 2024. It announces a voter outreach program launching in July 2026 to address this issue. The bottom text introduces "AAPI House Calls" as a volunteer phonebanking program aimed at mobilizing AAPI voters. The website "AAPIHouseCalls.org" is displayed at the bottom.Promotional image for AAPI House Calls featuring a call to action: "Volunteer with us." The text highlights benefits such as weekly virtual phonebanks with staff support, volunteer training, joining a community, and multilingual voter engagement. On June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Texas to announce the abolition of slavery, ordering freedom for 250,000+ enslaved Black people in the state. Today, Juneteenth is a celebration of the enduring strength of Black communities in the face of white supremacy and racial injustice. 🧵⬇️

As our co-founder @manjushakulkarni.bsky.social explains to @documentedny.bsky.social, ICE also poses existential threats to our communities. Out of fear for the future, many Asian families are giving up on their dreams to start a business or send their children to college.
Black and white text that reads: Kulkarni added that the impact extends beyond enforcement itself. “Immigrant families are questioning whether the promise of the American dream still exists for them,” she said. “Fear of deportation, family separation, or losing status even after years of waiting for a green card, makes it difficult for people to plan long term, whether that’s sending their children to college or starting a business. The future feels overshadowed by instability.”
