Vote No to protect direct democracy. Billionaires shouldn’t be able to price ordinary people out of the political process. If the cost of qualifying a citizen initiative becomes too high, our communities lose a powerful tool: the ability to put the issues we care about directly before voters.

Today's SCOTUS decision sends two messages: Firstly, that birthright citizenship is a bedrock principle enshrined in the 14th Amendment. And secondly, no President has the power to rewrite the Constitution with the stroke of a pen.

Authoritarians attack institutions—the media, the courts, universities—when those institutions refuse to do their bidding. Those that stand their ground are often punished. While many ⚖️ law firms chose to cut deals with Trump, Perkins Coie chose a different path. It refused to bend the knee.
