I could pick up a copy of your book at the Schlafly branch of the library, if that would help? I think it's actually named after a childless aunt & uncle of Fred's (phyllis' husband), but I like to send my liberal arts check-outs to that branch and imagine her spinning in her grave.

This Doofus actively interfered in Cat's efforts to trap a field mouse that got inside (his energy was "whatcha doing? can I see?" little brother) (we got to the mouse with a box so we could remove him to the field). Doofus has also encountered a young bunny and just tried to sniff its "buns"

But today I'm at my mom's, trying to clear out hording piles. So it's not a good Monday, and I'll have to make do with what's on hand
A bottle of Seagram's 7 and a tall glass. The glass is a souvenir with the word "Moosewood" and an image of a tree and a moose visible; it's half-filled with ice and cola with a plastic straw sticking out.

And yet. (Fun fact: when I was first trying to get away from supporting this administration with my labor, I applied to work on the provenance research team at our local art museum, www.slam.org/about-the-co... But here I am, unemployed with ample time to poast on here.)
Google search results summarized (using AI, ugh): "Many major museums have incomplete or undisclosed provenance records for their collections, with only 21% of US museums providing easily accessible, object-level Nazi-era information online. Institutions with identified gaps or limited public disclosure include the Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and various smaller, regional, or private institutions.

Museums and Institutions with Limited or Incomplete Public Provenance Records
Art Institute of Chicago: Identified in reports for not publishing complete lists of works with potential ownership gaps.
Museum of Modern Art (MoMA): Questioned regarding Nazi-era acquisitions, specifically works from dealer Curt Valentin.
American Museum of Natural History: Criticized for failing to return certain Native American human remains.
Illinois State Museum: Noted for restrictive policies regarding the cultural affiliation of (rest is cut off)

I'm not in favor of giving the NPS or natl park(s) to generic Indigenous people, like the guy up thread seems to be. I just think picking this natl park for your hypothetical, in this particular moment, and adding "(for some reason)" is a lil uninformed. www.osageculture.com/culture/geog...

Hysterically bad example.
Screenshot from Osage Culture website about Sugarloaf Mound: "When the French began construction of what would become St. Louis in 1764, the future city contained possibly hundreds of mounds. While many were relatively small burial mounds situated on the bluffs overlooking navigable waterways, there was also a major Mississippian civic-ceremonial complex located just north of the Gateway Arch. The North St. Louis Mound Group included over 25 mounds systematically arranged around public plazas. This substantial site was presumably tied to two other nearby Mississippian centers: the little-known East St. Louis Mound Group and its famous relative, Cahokia (a UNESCO World Heritage Site)."

You're telling me *this* Judy Greer isn't Jewish?!?
Screenshot of poster from The Hebrew Hammer (2003), a Blacksplotation-style movie. Greer is wearing a white turtleneck and long skirt, with a prominent Star of David necklace. She's leaning against a 70's era sedan with Hebrew writing and the rear window is also Star of David-shaped. Adam Goldberg as the Hebrew Hammer stands in the foreground, looking up at the camera raising a fist. He's wearing a large black fedora and black vest over a white dress shirt, which is unbuttoned to show a black turtleneck and several gold necklaces, including a חי charm. He also has multiple gold rings on the raised fist, including another Star of David.

Is it just this?
Family Guy skin color chart meme: Peter Griffin from Family Guy cartoon (large white man) in driver's seat of vehicle that is pulled over. Outside the window a white arm in blue long sleeve shirt holds up a color chart, where palest peach tones are labeled 'okay' and darker, browner tones are labeled 'not okay.' the person outside the car is comparing Peter's skin to the chart.

I kinda want to know what you think of my flatware. Spouse spent what seemed like a. lot. of time deciding on this design when we were doing the wedding registery. But almost 15 years later, he still likes them and they still function (and they're still available for purchase apparently).
Salad & dinner forks, rounded tip knife (like for spreading butter rather than cutting), kinda normal elongated round soup & teaspoons. All have a shiny finish. Handles widen slightly along the length to a square or rectangular shape at the base, with a gentle quarter-turn twist (over the top to the left) about 2/3 of the length.
