I started reading Eleceed again, from the beginning. I care those weirdos. What a solid battle shonen. On top of the sweet but determined main character building a friendship harem, it's just unpredictable enough (I remember some of the major maimings and deaths sadly) to hook me hard. My babies.

There are references to past and present sex acts/sexual desire along with (not particularly descriptive) descriptions of Things That Have Been Done to him and one brief scene of sexual exploitation/assault that clearly reads as dissociative. It's not a sex scene in the slightest. Smut where??

A recurring "criticism" of the Astarion book is that it's smutty/written for the booktok girlies (derogatory). I won't comment on the self ship babes making THAT their hill to die on (i am making a FACE at the hypocrisy) but what stands out is that there's only one (low? heat?) sex scene in the book
