Kare 11 local news just read, in full, this statement from Michael and Susan Pretti, the parents of Alex Pretti. "Please get the truth out about our son."

Statement from Michael and Susan Pretti
Parents of Alex Jeffrey Pretti

“We are heartbroken but also very angry.

Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately, he will not be with us to see his impact.

I do not throw around the ‘hero’ term lightly. However, his last thought and act was to protect a woman. The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He had his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down, all while being pepper sprayed.

Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you.

Science has gone too far to the douche-bro side:

A pallet of white boxes with a large blue section on the bottom third of the box. Each box is labeled with 30 grams of protein, sugar free blueberry lemonade flavored sparkling protein water, 16 cans per box.

If this is what happens when people dare to write about things someone actually said—a necessary endeavor when it's become clear many folks have a very incomplete picture of the man—we're in trouble. bsky.app/profile/kare...

Tomorrow, the President is going to order the national guard to militarize the nation's capital (despite crime being at a 30 year low) after sending Congress home to prevent them from investigating evidence he committed sex crimes against children. The Congressional GOP is unified behind him. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The world is a mess, so I’m sharing something more positive. Meet Millie, an 8 month old Aussie-doodle who had a very hard start at life. 48 hours ago she was so scared she peed when both my partner and I approached her at the same time. Cont.

Dont sleep on SCSI on vintage PC's - @stinkerton18.bsky.social has put in a ton of work documenting and making images for PC. A SCSI card + a #BlueSCSI can be a great, flexable, and feature filled PC solution! (BlueSCSI Toolbox apps work on PC too!)

Having been pretty darn sick the past few days, I finally mustered enough energy to reconnect with the world and try to get caught up. I now wish I hadn’t. Maybe I’ll put away BlueSky/the news for another couple of days until I’m actually well.

PSA: Check your expansion cards and keep them like you keep 3D filaments. Even tantalum capacitors fail when they age/are exposed to moisture. This is a MediaVision sound card I picked up in an ewaste procurement. Zero rust on the case too.

Didn’t myself for Intsa and Threads. I sadly kept FB solely as it’s the only way I can reach some folks, but I did delete ALL my content!

Profile/cover photo changed to pure black. Privacy/visibility all set to "Only Me." Removed all Likes, follows, left all groups, deleted all info in "About Me," and videos. FB purge complete.

This is why I removed my Insta and Threads accounts. Going to be removing all my content from FB and disconnecting it from all other sites like Kickstarter.

Pins 7 through 17 of U E 5 ASC chip showing further pin and corrosion damage

U A 4 chip with some corrosion on the pins
