Especially Canada, look at the advantages. Most of the country speaks English as a native tongue. Large open economy in a vibrant democracy that consistently ranks in the top 10 on basically all freedom metrics. Or NIMBYs can pass laws restricting housing. We'll see what Canada chooses.

This leads to a bigger catastrophe, because once you start pulling funding for education you end up with student loans, which are a stupid idea economically, leading to a lower tax base to fund the bloated pension system, and the pensioners are still largely opposed to immigration.

A Conservative-Liberal coalition is silly, QS-PQ is not feasible, this is going to be a very unstable PQ-Liberal government which is the only feasible combination. So given that there is no feasible coalition with the three smaller parties in the new legislature, PQ will have the Premiership.
