This is a real photo from 1913. It hasn’t been colorized. It was made using a technique called the Autochrome Lumière which captured true color using microscopic dyed starch grains as color filters, decades before color film existed. Pretty incredible, no? More below 👇

I’ve never perceived this at all. Our offense has never really been a problem all season long. It’s always been the pitching, primarily the bullpen except for that crazy period in May when we lost all of our starters.

Indeed. It seemed insane watching it, and I don’t usually watch soccer or know anything about its strategy. Looked like, to use a hockey analogy, the team up by a goal with 10 mins to play decided to let the opposition have a power-play for the rest of the game. For some reason. 🤷‍♂️

A win is a win. I’ll take it. But EIGHT walks? Nine runs? The outcome does nothing to restore any confidence to me in our “bullpen“ staff. Beau Brieske just horrible. No action at all on his pitches. Can’t fool anybody. 3.6 WHIP. 32.4 (!!) ERA. Why is he on our roster?

How do you know this is a “setback?” Every time I lost an employee I thought was important I was able to replace them with someone who was their equal or better and it ended up being a blessing in many cases.

Where is your confidence coming from? Filoni was single-handedly responsible for the disaster in writing and acting that was Ahsoka. And while Mandalorian is, overall, watchable, the first few episodes of each season tend to be a slog (generic “monster of the week“ stuff) before the pace picks up.
