I'm going to try and make a user script which downloads all comments from Tapas episodes. Started doing some research today, feels doable. I'll see what I can crank out tomorrow.

FYI, from Toocheke. They added a Tapas migration feature.

A screenshot of an email that says

Import Your Tapas.io Comics Into WordPress
You may have seen the news about Tapas shutting down. If you or anyone you know publish there, you’re probably wondering what happens to all of your comics and years of work.

We’ve just added a new import feature to Toocheke Companion (available in version 2.23+) that can move an entire Tapas series into WordPress for you — including episodes, images, thumbnails, and original publish dates.

It keeps everything in order, so you don’t have to manually copy and paste hundreds of pages.

🌱 PLEASE HELP US NOT BE EVICTED 🌱 Turns out we may be evicted if we don’t come up with the rent money and for utilities for October. This would be a HUGE help and reliever if we could have this goal met. Partner was fired from his job this month. We’re struggling. ko-fi.com/missalppy/go...

Quick mini update before I have to head to bed, but the #Tapas Community Discord is planning a community run #Inksgiving in light of the recent news! Will be sharing more tomorrow after work, but pass on the news starting now! Make sure to share the love with all your favorite creators ASAP!

With the news of the Tapas shutdown looming, just wanted to create a starter pack full of Tapas creators so you can keep up with them whereever their work lands next. Check them out! Also, if you're affected by the shutdown, comment and I'll add you to the starter pack! go.bsky.app/RYenyUa

I literally found out from the trending tab on bluesky. It doesn't appear Kakao notified anyone in America about it shutting down the company and when to the point where I'm wondering if the news was even supposed to be out this soon???

trending tab on bluesky reads "tapas webcomic platform shuts down"

I'm assuming since Tapas contracted the adaptation we probably wouldn't be able to move it elsewhere, but I'm still trying to figure out what's even happening. Also curious what's going to happen to all the comics I paid money to read.

I hate that it's a Tapas exclusive because seems like it's just going to become lost media and I can't find any information on *when exactly* Tapas is going down.

Read Battle Mage Farmer | Tapas Web Comics

I don't know what's going on here but check out my Ringo award nominated adaptation of Battle Mage Farmer we made at Tapas while you still can I guess. :( tapas.io/series/battl...

Oooh good idea! Yeah its taking some getting used to which I assume is normal, ultimately I can't wait to start getting some energy back because the fatigue has really been holding me back from doing as much art as I want to. Or even just doing the bare minimum day to day tasks or socializing.

010

When I brought it up with Health-Net specifically that they kept sending me to people who cant treat my condition (and gosh do I wish they had a bluesky so I could publicly embarrass them) their rep shrugged it off saying my condition was so rare that it wasnt their fault they were letting me starve

I think it's going to be a longer term to permanent thing, I've been fighting my health insurance for 3 years to see a surgeon with lots of experience with MALS and they aren't letting me see the one I feel confident or comfortable with, in fact 10 surgeons they sent me to can't do it at all. 🤦🏾

Literally 0 helpful information was found. 😭😭😭

Spent 9 days in the hospital getting a feeding tube placed and made the mistake of looking up the term "tube feeding" on here as I try to adjust to this new device. Quickly and regretfully learned that term is a category of NSFW furry art. Furries, I love you, but oh my god guys what are we doing? 😭

Coyote Vs ACME really is a tremendous victory for movies in general honestly, I’m not even joking. The film would’ve been locked up forever if not for everybody rising up against greedy studio execs and demanding its release. It proves that People REALLY do have the power against corporations.

For decades, L.A. people always had a "yeah, but it's a dry heat," chambered as one of our defenses for living here. Now, the heat is wet, fire season is all year round, and the industry that brought many of us here is dead. But at least it's ranked in the top 10 most expensive cities in the world.

We see alot of content creators, celebrities and especially politicians who just cruel, awful weirdos. But looking back at Dolly Parton's life really cements the difference between a shameless conartist who thrives on hurting others and being a kind force of nature and proud of it. Later, Dolly.
