I'm on top of a volcano in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean 1400km from the nearest continent. They put permeable pavers in a high traffic area. I never want to hear anyone again say they can't implement LID in their project again.

Big fan of this very hopeful speech. I know Cory is all over the internet, but this is worth a watch. My concern after listening is that we've created systems of bureaucracy that have rewarded leaders who stand for nothing and work tirelessly to maintain the status quo. How do we change that?

This really resonated with me. For someone with a few quirks and had a hard time fitting in, the internet really was quite a pleasant place to meet and engage. These days, it feels like I'm exploring a ghost town. Constantly trying to figure out where all the people went.
