Confrontation with the neighbour with the Yappy, Aggressive Dog. She has an older, sweet boi, then this thing with a hellhound’s attitude in a Shi-Tzu body. She claims to have tried muzzles, but that didn’t work. Truth is, she was too lazy to properly train it as a puppy.

He’s 95. So many don’t make it that far. And I know his time is limited. I just don’t want to see him go out the same way as Mom. Too weak from starvation (involuntary anorexia), unable to walk as far as the bathroom, in a constant state of dozing. We are waiting to hear if he’s in end of life.

There’s a melange of stuff that terrified me. But the stand-outs are Hilarious House of Frightenstein credits with a skeleton in a wedding dress, and some afterschool/Saturday movie for kids that featured a drowning. Both predate the Bambi incident.

Beige Grizzly has C. difficile. Because of course he does. So this complicates his recovery from his hip surgery, as he’s at risk for dehydration and electrolyte imbalances. It also means that the parade of visitors has to gown-up before going in. Full PPE. And most of them won’t. Yay.

The nursing home across the road has been closed for a few weeks with the residents moved to a freshly built facility. Today they took down the flag pole. I am feeling a loss. If they fell the trees, I will not be okay.

Rage cooked some “Rich White Cheddar” KD, and popcorn chicken. It’s Classic Who on the screen, with Mr Peter Davison. I was very much too old to be watching Polka Dot Door, which preceded this on the schedule, and was more interested in afterschool music video programs.

Smol pasta shells in a revamped white cheddar sauce, served with nine pieces of popcorn chicken in a grey and cobalt blue bowl.

Slept solid, despite what the Fitbit says. Minimal cover disruption, Cookie Monster remained in the bed, and only woke when Sis texted me. (Not counting the 6 AM pee break.) Still coughing, but not as frequently. Engaging Cozy Recovery mode, level 3. All-day jammies, sloth blanket, meds.

100% endorse this thread. I teach consent, violence prevention & bystander intervention for a living - It is my area of expertise. There is *no* evidence of the existence of an "Oops, my bad!" rapist. "Sexual assault is a miscommunication" is a myth without any evidence. It is an intentional act.

This is the Crone Zone No-Action News Bed. I wasn’t up to going to see Beige Grizzly. I kept falling asleep while drinking my coffee. So I’m here until dinner.

The upper part of a bed. There’s a stack of four pillows in yellow and blue pillow cases, a blue fitted sheet, yellow cotton sheet, and a multicoloured quilt . The bed also has a silver tissue box, a sloth stuffy that is mostly out of frame, and the Cookie Monster stuffy, which is doubling as a pressure pillow for coughing and sneezing.
