Steve Woodson, CPACC @stevenwoodson.com · 29/09/2026Hey Lazyweb friends, I'll soon be in Las Colinas (Irving) Texas with some free time on my hands, got any tips on must see/do things while I'm there? So far, all I got is a visit to the Mustangs of Las Colinas sculpture (photo attached is one I found online, can't wait to see it in person!) 121

Steve Woodson, CPACC @stevenwoodson.com · 28/09/2026Got them both together yesterday, I was trying to keep up with when the new one became available but it's so hard to know for sure. Feels later than usual this year, but maybe it's just me falling behind... 120

Steve Woodson, CPACC @stevenwoodson.com · 18/09/2026I didn't realize there was so much interest in "nan", guess I always assumed it was a developer thing. But seriously, noticing a precipitous uptick in these weird failed-mail-merge-looking emails lately. I don't understand the goal, bait a response that validates it's a real email? 000

Steve Woodson, CPACC @stevenwoodson.com · 02/09/2026Ohhh this is interesting, I didn't consider the difference in nomenclature between site builder and CMS. I agree there's subtle but important distinctions between them. 010
Steve Woodson, CPACC @stevenwoodson.com · 02/09/2026Oh yeah, that's a great addition to it! I'd like to think if the conversation was focused more on heavy content/editorial workflows I would have made a similar observation. We were talking about a marketing site with very custom pages, so that was the point I was trying to convey. 110
Steve Woodson, CPACC @stevenwoodson.com · 02/09/2026I just used this analogy explaining CMS vs hand coded site to a client. * Hand coded - like a painter given a canvas * CMS - like anyone else given a paint by number kit. Pretty solid right? Limited palette and less options in favor of making it as simple as possible. They got it right away! 230

Steve Woodson, CPACC @stevenwoodson.com · 18/08/2026I have one very similar, humbling indeed! Just a note of warning, if you are on it on hardwood floors or something that can scuff and scrape, I'd recommend putting something down like a chair mat to spare your floors. Steve Woodson, CPACC @stevenwoodson.com · 13/08/2026It's so hard, some days impossible. But what does occasionally help is to ask myself, "will I remember this in a year?" If the answer is anything but a clear yes, then I try to force myself to acknowledge that broader perspective. 020
