There are sports focused ttrpgs, but I don't know what the popular sports are in the Imperium (Traveller or WH40K)...is there a stadium in Greyhawk or Waterdeep...outside of Pendragon/Arthurian settings are there knights tourneys... rarely there is a wizard's tourney or martial arts battle royale

reflections of Imperial power, touch points for riots, engines of economic turmoil legal and criminal, sources of civil pride. Chariot and horse racing, knightly tourneys, boxing matches, fox and boar hunting, small town baseball and football rivalries. Sports should be more important in #ttrpg

TV spinoff idea: the Redneck Repair Shop. You take in a broken chair, they spray it with some WD40, slap on some duct tape, and bingo good as new! You need to put some cardboard under one leg to keep it from wobbling. And yes, I have a loveseat propped up with a pile of books under one leg!
