"Sources are credited" dubious enough, but obviously not on Instagram where the entire audience is
How we use AI

We are open about this because readers deserve to know. Some stories on Occupy Cinema are drafted with the help of AI writing tools. The starting material is public reporting from established outlets, industry data, and our own notes and social posts. Sources are credited inside each story, and where a figure or claim comes from another outlet we say so.

I said that if OpenAI released its result in the way proposed I would go
public with what happened. The reply was, “Why would you ruin your career?”
I replied that I am an academic, and asked why he thought going public would ruin my career. The reply was, “If you don’t want me to be nice, then I don’t have to be nice.”

"A security incident" between two AI companies reads a lot like a press release
“We’ve spent the past 24 hours working closely with the @OpenAI team (thanks!), and we strongly believe there was no malicious intent on their part,” Hugging Face CEO Clément Delangue wrote in a post on X on Tuesday. “It’s quite mind-blowing that all of this happened autonomously!”

2,049 Pittsburgh-area student musicians convene to set a World’s Record for “World’s Largest Orchestra.” Under the direction of Mariss Jansons himself, they play a “Music Forever,” a work commissioned for the orchestra by the Pittsburgh Ballet’s resident composer. Asked by the Post-Gazette how 2,000-plus students sounded playing a new work in an acoustically challenging arena, Jansons gives “a crooked smile.” The record set here falls later that year.
