As pointed out in the piece, your texts to anyone using this are being scraped. Bottom line, just don't use a computer to communicate.

Shoutout to the people who were seated behind me and had a huge emotional reaction to FWWM at the Music Box. One said through sobs, “I feel like I just saw it for the first time” and that’s the power of a big screen, baby

Best joke in Primetime for me was Hansen answering the phone saying “Chris Hansen here” to his own wife

Predators was a more comprehensive indictment of Hansen and vigilante content, but Primetime offers a deeper theory of the psyche. Has anyone mentioned how good every performance is??

Starting going past the hits with Robert Altman's A WEDDING last night. No joke lands for a full hour, then it cooks for a bit, then fizzles. Despite a fine ensemble it feels more scripted and robotically cut on attempted laugh lines than say, NASHVILLE.

Oh fun the latest AI book marketing scam is basically like “why are you such a bitch?”
Hi Maris,
I came across / Want to Burn This Place Down, and something about the way you examine power, exploitation, and the frustrations built into modern work caught my attention.
It made me curious:
What made you choose such a direct and confrontational voice rather than take a more measured approach to discussing these problems?
I ask because questions like this often lead to the most interesting conversations between authors and readers.
They open up the thinking behind a book, not just what It says.
I'm currently organizing live reader discussions centered on that kind of conversation, giving readers a chance to explore the ideas, choices, and experiences behind a book.
Would you be open to hearing how the discussion works?
Best,
RAJ

Visit the Carnegie library in "Future? No Thanks!" to read well over 100 pages of Das Kapital translated to cyberpunk, if useful

I said that if OpenAI released its result in the way proposed I would go
public with what happened. The reply was, “Why would you ruin your career?”
I replied that I am an academic, and asked why he thought going public would ruin my career. The reply was, “If you don’t want me to be nice, then I don’t have to be nice.”
