One of my favorite things is making my friend’s mild-mannered avatar look crazy and violent.

A sci-fi critter that is featured in @maddambeltaine.bsky.social ‘s podcast during the Mecha Hack episodes.

A little sci-fi critter that was originally described to me as a rat-beetle, but in the end looks very little like a rat or a beetle.

It has a vaguely rat-shaped body type with a hard beetle shell on its back. Its head is more like a flour bud that can bloom in four segments.

Crackling energy is emitted from its maw.
