Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 14hNever mind, here is a photo from the other place for you. I think this is the flyover in Childwall, Liverpool. Do you know @nonnie.bsky.social ? 152
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I love it when you show us your bookcases! Gav claims to have a "library" but I suspect his books would be too "Gothic" for my taste. I sometimes think that you and I are the only real Intellectuals on here and true aficionados of: 230
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Morneroon, I read your post and then found this on X: 020
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 27/08/2026PS The spelling of German words and names is a lot more logical, and closer to English, than that of French words, IMHO. It is like the Rickenbacher guitars which John Lennon and George Harrison played in the Beatles. 010
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Happy #FuckOffFriday, o Great One. I have just been on X snf I found a new hat for you. It might be useful for rplying to the post from Robyn just now. 010
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 31/07/2026@samanthasearrings.bsky.social I have an uncle in Sunderland who is a month younger than me. When we were younger he could not even hear the world Newcastle without swearing. the rivalry is that deep. Here is something different for you from the other place: 110
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 31/07/2026And it has been 1 day since I was left off the team photo. This is racial discrimination against Mackems so here is a little something for you to start your day with: Sunderland 1 Newcastle 0. 440
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 14/07/2026@mcmgoptimist.bsky.social Morning Maria, I found this on X. Somebody had to do it! 193
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Hello again Dennis, @thomasashman64.bsky.social I have just seen this on X 4218
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 02/07/2026Post a random picture or else everything will go bad in July 260
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 27/04/2026Morning, my liege. I have just seen this and I thought you could use it! 020
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 20/03/2026I live in the Liverpool suburbs. Liverpool was the second biggest port in the Empire after London. Wealthy merchants built these houses in the Georgian era when we had a German king and his descendants on the throne! 000
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 11/03/2026When I was a teenager, I had an Classics for Pleasure LP of Mediaeval Christmas Music. I loved it. You can't get it now. CfP LPs were about £1.25 each whereas normal LPs were £3.50 or more! 120
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 28/02/2026Did you get the video of the dogs dancing which I sent you? I have just had a video call with my son Tim and his family in Bath. This is my grandson, Robbie. 250
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 28/02/2026Hi, Matthew, Found something in the other place which you and @wulfhelm.bsky.social would like: 251
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 11/02/2026I agree. I even like looking at pictures of books. This is the Long Room in Trinity College Library, Dublin. 130
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 29/01/2026Thanks. The pictures on the covers of the books were more memorable! 100
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 14/01/2026When I was a teenager, I had a big postcard with this picture on it. It is my spiritual home! 030
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 17/12/2025Went on X by mistake and this is the first thing I saw: 130
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 28/11/2025Lovely. I had that poster on my bedroom wall when I was a teenager. I was a strange youth. I also had this one. 240
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 06/11/2025The pictures in this group used to consist mainly of sunsets, like this. 110
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 21/10/2025Yes, as long as he doesn't get his Yorkshire sausages out again we should be alright! 030
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 14/10/2025I was born in Sunderland. The accent their is softer and it rises and falls, as Swedish does, but Danish and Norwegian don't. He probably knows this and he definitely doesn't like people from Sunderland. This is the church where I was baptised. It looks a bit Swedish to me. 130
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 14/10/2025The monastery was destroyed by the Danes but they built a Priory on the same site later on. Then Henry VIII, or Thomas Cromwell, destroyed that: 020
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 14/10/2025I had copied a slide show, with different views of Holy Island (Lindisfarne), including one of the castle, but there are always problems with embedded videos on Bluesky. Here is a picture of the castle. 282
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 07/10/2025@robertjenrickmp.bsky.social The wrapper on this chocolate bar will remembered long after your speech is forgotten. #BrexitIsAScam 041
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 03/10/2025@bakerhelm.bsky.social This is Norwich market now. The stalls are like painted wooden sheds. When I lived there they had tubular metal poles as the framework with colourful canvas rooves. 330
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 03/10/2025Rain in Norwich, and rain in Liverpool. I think this is by the Pier Head. I have just copied it from the Liverpool Echo's website. 130
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 28/09/2025The man wearing this helmet is dangerous and deranged. If you see him, do not approach him. 030
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 26/09/2025Hello again, Cyn. Is @wulfhelm.bsky.social awake yet? Does @bakerhelm.bsky.social know? 181
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 19/09/2025Happy #FOF everyone. Don't worry too much and remember that (I hope Wulf hel doesn't take this literally), 2112
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 13/09/2025Morning MV and everyone. One of my old Twitter friends used to post this a lot. I think it was available as a Gif then. 230
Stephen Old @stephenold.bsky.social · 08/09/2025Sorry to but in on the convo, Janet, but I wanted to let you know that I have been busy IRL. My wife's uncle died a couple of weeks ago and then we became grandparents. Have just returned from a trip to Bath to see our grandson, Robbie! 000
