There’s an amendment being pushed into the Data Bill to put everyone’s gender on official records back to their sex at birth, even if they've legally changed it. It’s not just erasure, it puts trans people at risk of being outed without consent. Email your MP. Tag them. Tell them this is not OK.

You are so right Jakki. Part of the challenge is that people don't know how to talk with people who are grieving. Another aspect is that companies often look to the law & policy first and forget to be human. St Oswald's Hospice has been training employers in how to support their bereaved employees
