Just asked to fill out a survey for Tumblr about their Premium services. So, here's my answer for their final open answer question, "Is there anything else you want to tell us?" *cracks knuckles*

I dunno man, the Internet just sucks now. It’s ten years past its prime, 'cause all the sites that created the things that people talked about on Tumblr are gone.

Sites like Tumblr, but also Shitty-X/Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest — all of that was only good because the rest of the Internet existed. Tumblr's the least bad, don't mistake me, but y'all are the big box megamarts that crowded out the corner stores where people hung out and made the cool stuff they wanted to share. Without them, all sites like you can do is reference each other, echos of echos, when it’s not a sales pitch for some drop-shipped garbage or AI slop.

The internet's dead, my dudes, and it's not coming back for $6.99/month.

(Last post, promise.) If you type Japonica Glass Spiced Pumpkin, it works. But Japonica glass is SO TINY on the label, you could be forgiven for thinking it wasn't a valid search term. That the biggest words on the label would be the way to find it. But when you do the obvious thing:

No results for 'spiced pumpkin latte candle' ... womp womp.

Last week when I was looking for an ~actual book~ (the title of which is MAKE TIME), Indigo's site matched many, many books, nine or so before the actual, precise title came up. Here are the top three offerings:

A shower curtain, a book on sex positions, another on how to make money in stocks... NOT the book MAKE TIME.

Nah, hadn't posted 'em. But here are some process shots!! (and the only reason I figured out it wasn't advancing was because there was a black dot on the red portion of the tape and it didn't move no matter how much I typed. My a-ha moment!

Been using a new dough method (The Quest For Perfect Dough continues across social media platforms, for they are etherial and pizza eternal) and been making some lovely, light chewy crusts that I cut and eat before I think to snap a pic. So here is something else orange and round:

Another fantastic exhibit just opened, PARVIZ TANAVOLI: POETS, LOCKS, CAGES. Iranian born and Vancouver based, the exhibit covers fifty+ years of his work across media. So cool.

This is from the FASION FICTIONS exhibit currently going on at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
