i'll still be playing at local events and being a spectator in the wider scene but i really just need to stop for a while and then work on my own skills before i comit to comp again, though playing comp for a little over 2 years has been amazing and i don't regret it one bit

deciding to retire from comp for a while, generally haven't been enjoying the game and the meta along with feeling very burnt out, there's also a lot going on in my life rn that i need to work on so for now im not gonna be playing comp for a bit, will come back eventually when i feel ready

hosting a lan for the first time was so exhausting but I'm so glad i finally made it happen. thank you to everyone who helped me, nakki, jardonian, tsarina, pepe, megsi, shiny and everybody who gave me words of encouragement and told me how much fun they had. i can't wait to host our next one.

this has also sparked a big debate about mid level since that is the root cause of this issue which is why its blown super out of proportion and it can be hard to follow

Stego 🌴🦕 @steg00.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

people are mad about the fact that you have to be voted into them and the people voting are "gatekeeping" these servers and making it much more likely to be voted out of them than be voted into the, especially in +2 and +3 which has had a record low voting as of now

110 1

Stego 🌴🦕 @steg00.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

the plus servers are basically servers that you have to be voted into in order to join them and they allow people to get very consistent scrims in a specific skill level, the servers are +3, +2, and +1, +1 is mostly high/top level while +2 and +3 are mid level

Bamboo is such a cool weapon I wish more teams picked up bamboo players so I could see it played. If you're looking for a 4th you should try for a bamboo player. If I weren't on a team already I would be looking for a bamboo player to play with

one of my recent favorite dinosaur names has to be anatotitan, meaning titanic duck. its considered synonymous with edmontosaurus annectens so its technically an invalid genus but the word "titanic duck" just has some funny imagery

Stego 🌴🦕 @steg00.bsky.social · 23/06/2025

I've been playing an emulated version of the dinosaur king ds game and it's pretty fun, after I finish this game I kinda wanna try finding an emulated version of fossil fighters but I unfortunately can't find one at this moment 😔
