There’s a lovely cafe in Great Western (Salinger’s) that has bees in the chimney and wall. They’ve replaced a plaster section of the wall with glass and a picture frame to keep an eye on them.

A very long 18 months ago I left my old life: I had to leave the dog that saved me behind. This year she left us. Christmas decoration, soft furnishing engineer, astonishingly good company, best friend. RIP Indie.

You couldn’t get her in any novelty anything and she was an English Staffy…if she didn’t want to do it, she wouldn’t.
She loved her reindeer antlers, though.

All couches belong to me…making herself completely comfortable on three back cushions.

They weren’t left that way. She’d move them to suit.
