So MamaCat passed away Thursday evening, likely due to complications from the diabetes that was diagnosed the past week. That cat was a major help to me throughout the seven years I was able to live with her; she got me through a lot of dark times and I will be forever grateful to her for that.

I've been thinking: at this point the right and left are not even speaking the same language anymore. The basic definitions of words are so divergent between the two camps that there's no way to even approach common ground. Each masquerades as "English" but they're basically political dialects.
