After 9 years in the making, it's finally out (!) White-faced capuchins with a stronger stress response to previous droughts were more likely to survive a severe El Niño drought. Kudos to the heroic efforts of first authors Sofia Carrera and Irene Godoy. www.science.org/doi/epdf/10....

A friend just told me about a whole bunch of updates to the NSF proposal guidelines taking effect 5/20: new.nsf.gov/policies/pap... Some of these include: changes to biosketch, addition of grads to the mentoring plan (good), and IDPs included as reporting (this one is less clear re: enforcement)
