"Summer Rains Sacrifice" a speculative Lower Shaximiao Formation paleoart scene with multiple dinosaurs commissioned and art directed by Kyokyomadoka.

The rains have returned to the Lower Shaximiao Formation, approximately 166 million years ago. A young Datousaurus’ first river crossing with its herd has ended in tragedy, and an unexpected feast. Floodwater swept away the inexperienced sauropodlet, striking rocks and filling its lungs with the muddy torrent. In the morning during a break in the storms, a group of mesopredators gather to enjoy the bounty. Chuandongocoelurus, Kaijiangosaurus, and Gasosaurus coexist peacefully during this moment of abundance.
