Recently I came to the realization that "there's no straight explanation for this" doesn't have to exclude people on the aromantic and asexual spectrums and it gave me little happies Real talk tho don't take this one too seriously tho, for many reasons #aromantic #asexual #headcanons

A comic depicting two characters, one of the wearing a hoodie with the colors of the aromantic flag.
The other character, looking into the distance, confidently states: "There is no straight explanation for these two characters' dynamic."
The aromantic character replies, thinking for a bit: "Hm, you're right... A straight person probably wouldn't know to put so much importance on friendship and platonic love..."
She then smiles and confidently declares: "In fact, this is all very aromantic-coded!" The other character, looking a bit confused, replies: "Um... That's not what I meant but um... Okay."

This Mexican wanted to draw her comfort characters dancing ballet folklorico, so that's what I did~ ¡Viva México! #tsukutabe #yuri #funariart #15deseptiembre #mexico

Nomoto and Kasuga participating in some ballet folklorico. Nomoto is dressed in an slightly-fancy charro outfit while Kasuga is the one in a dress.

If you know Kasuga, she's probably not dancing too energetically. She may be mostly moving her dress around and occasionally shifting, but they're having fun. It's fine! But who knows, maybe she can surprise us if they practiced long and hard for this lol

Trick Question Original can be found here: www.instagram.com/p/DdDh2Ecn3wc/

Kasuga approaches Nomoto and asks, "Nomoto-san...Can you say 'suki' (Love) 10 times for me?"
Nomoto realizes in private there may be more to this request. With a chuckle, she thinks to herself, "Oh, I wonder if this is some sort of trick question?"
As Nomoto says "Suki" 10 times, she's thinking more about her assumption. "You know, kinda like that one where you ask someone, 'What's the closest planet to Earth?" that tricks the other into saying 'tsuki' (The Moon, which sounds close to 'suki.' Venus is the correct answer, by the way)
As Nomoto finishes the request, the two stare at each other in silence for a beat. Then, suddenly, Kasuga's cheeks turn rosy and she suppresses her smile/chuckle/what-have-you reaction as she requests Nomoto for more. "...Now, please say 'suki' 10 more times." Nomoto is taken aback by this adorable reaction and replies aloud, "Ah, well, you know, let's just skip the whole quiz idea. I don't even know the point anymore! I'll say it a million times, if you want!" (an aside comment adds further Feels for Nomoto as she thinks that Kasuga is so friggin' cute).

Now, Kasuga's request really could be read two different ways: It could be that Nomoto was right and it was a trick to make her say "kiss" (if you say 'suki' fast enough, repeatedly, it sounds like "kiss") so Kasuga felt the kisses indirectly as a result, or it could be as straightforward as Kasuga just enjoying hearing Nomoto say she loves her ("suki" on its own can also be translated as a full "I love you," depending on context).

it's extremely cool how the Ravenous announcement trailer immediately establishes itself as the inverse of Dread's tonally. The big moment in Dread's trailer is Samus getting pinned down and killed by an EMMI, here it's her GRABBING THE BLADE THAT WAS STABBED THRU HER CHEST SHE DOESN'T GAF

Despair/Optimist hangover series ENA, finished after an unnecessary year of working on it on and off #enajoelg #enafanart #enadreambbq

transcript:
Despair / Optimist hangover series ena.
(image 1: ena's human body is dull blue and miserable, with half her face down to her neck and shoulder being a big hole, with a crackling bright yellow wireframe of her polygonal self coming through the hole to greet you)
optimist wireframe: "oh hi! not to worry- ...um. can you come back later?"

Encouraging and sympathetic to herself, for once. adverse to company and help. insists on handing this privately.

trying to self-soothe, but there is nothing she can appeal to.

the body is constantly, senselessly devastated, shivering and sobbing without sound. she cannot be soothed.

(image 2, the wireframe ena is resting on top of the body's head, hugging her. the body is wincing with her eyes closed)

(image 3, the wireframe is trying to speak to her body, but the miserably crying body doesnt seem to respond)

(image 4, moony looks through her hole from the backside, put off by it. the hole doesnt have a visual interior, unlike hungover bbq ena)
moony: "uh huh..."

(image 5, ena from behind, lifting her hair out of the way, so you can see the edge of the hole)
