One of the best games of 2026 releasing on everything *but* Xbox, again. I really want a solid excuse to make Xbox my primary platform again but with skips like this it's too easy to play just on Steam and occasionally on Switch as my only other console.

Working on wrapping Shadowbringers and getting caught up on FFXIV! I have no confidence that this means I'll have either finished everything here before Evercold, or still have enough free time to catch up on FFVII Remake and Rebirth before Revelation drops next year, but I'm going to keep trying!

I think I finally found the game logging site that works best for me! @gravk.games has backlog prioritization which is what kept me away from Backloggd, IGN Playlist, and others. I want to know which games I should play next, not just have a big unorganized list. It's perfect! gravk.com/en/

I am SO EXCITED for this! K/DA really felt like a breakthrough moment for cross-media in video games. League of Legends, for all of it's faults, has largely nailed it's productions outside of video games and owe it all to these girls. Even KPDH owes it to them. I hope this is a worthy comeback!

At the point in CONTROL Resonant where it'll easier to run through it in New Game+ to finish farming materials for 30 Artifacts and the last achievement. What an incredible experience. I'm going to switch my weapons up in NG+ to feel something fresh this go around!

It's been a while since I've spent any meaningful time playing on Xbox. The Disc to Digital program and improved third-party support will help keep it around in my house, but it's too little too late I fear. I may add a Mythic Achievement here or there though.

I gotta say that I didn't expect CONTROL Resonant to do a similar adaptation to one of my favorite Starfield quests and handle it so well for a 3rd person action game. I can't wait to replay it and see if I think it's as good or maybe even better than the Starfield one...

CONTROL Resonant is incredible. I'm about 5-6 hours in with two bosses down and a third on the way. Tons of fun exploration and combat. I feel like I've been putting off a lot of story stuff but it still feels like home. This isn't a tight, Alan Wake style narrative but it's wonderfully Remedy.

Current game time for the next ~6 months is dramatically reduced while renovating our new house, but I'm going to finish my Alan Wake 2 replay on Xbox, play through CONTROL Resonant, and then play through FFVII Remake and Rebirth (still haven't finished Remake) before Revelation comes out next year.

Replaying Alan Wake on Xbox since I never finished it there. Most of my game time has been on the Series S and it's entirely fine at 30 FPS. Definitely some frame-pacing issues in a few intense combat sections but it's a decent way to experience the game! (Screenshots are from testing EGS on Linux.)

Just saw that CONTROL Resonant's physical release is delayed when checking the tracking for my pre-order on Xbox. Went ahead and decided to double-dip on Steam since I know I'll replay it at least a few times. I replayed CONTROL at least 4 full times now? Eager to start pre-installing tomorrow!

It's been over 3 months since launch and Forza Horizon 6 is still UNPLAYABLE on Xbox branded hardware. When launching on the Xbox Ally X with the official ASUS XG Mobile EGPUs the game crashes after the studio screens and cannot be played. Support still hasn't resolved the issue.

Overtime I really have learned to care less and less about "super powerful" gaming rigs and such. We're working to get solar installed and set up as our primary power source, and I realized that in darker winter months we'll be saved by power efficient platforms like the Switch.
