People have been ready to take this guy seriously without knowing anything about him. He's been on a bunch of podcasts. He's apparently been to book signings but I can't find any images of that. He's only "revealed" himself recently. But she has been a writer with Pursuit of Wonder for years.

If the wealthiest people paid taxes regularly, public libraries could benefit from predictable budgets and could fund long-term projects with confidence knowing money will consistently come in. Instead, they must cross their fingers and hope a celebrity will pitch in once in a while. 🙄

You're quibbling. Men's world record for 100m is 9.58, women's 10.49 - difference of .91. For the Olympics records, it's a difference of .98. It's miniscule. Also, when it comes to endurance sports, like open water swimming or ultra distance running, women dominate everyone.
