i just had mexican food in germany. my friend told me the guy said it was “extremely authentic.” as a californian- i can feel my ancestors judging me from land of the dead 🙂‍↕️

two tacos, made in germany, on a white paper plate. one taco has a orange tinted sauce with red cabbage shreads, guac, cheese, with some other unseen toppings on beef; and the second is chicken with two rings of red onion, radishes, crema(?) and guac. the chicken is white, as if it’s been unseasoned with any traditional spices.

they are overstuffed and open flat face on the plate. you can tell trying to close one in half to bite is a futile effort. trying to tackle one of these will be a mess and is unlikely to be anything close to “authentic” mexican food
