Here is a rough list of what I'm going to focus more on this month. I wanted a mix of vampire, lycan, zombie, supernatural, etc. I was debating on whether or not to include any thriller, psychological stuff too (ex. Red Mansion, Ghost Gate, etc.) #MoonBoiReads

3 x 3 Grid of manga and manhwa covers. Titles (top to bottom, left to right): Tear of Solaris, MADK, Fangs, Bite Marks and Fluorite, Rainbow City, The Hounds of Sisyphus, The Rotten, Dreaming of the Dokkaebi, and Howling under the Moonlight

Speaking of food, I'm so sad that the Korean restaurant in my local flea market closed down. There were two there at one point. One of them closed after a short amount of time. The other one was around for much longer, but closed down. I haven't been there in a while so I'm not sure when.

I may or may not have the stomach bug (according to my dad) and I'm trying to be careful about what I eat. I probably shouldn't be watching so many food-related videos because I'm getting major FOMO and it's all food I probably shouldn't be eating anyway.

I have manga and manhwa to read. Lots of them, but it sucks when the one thing you want to read is not there.

I really want to read Radio Storm this month, but volume one is STILL in Colorado. It's been over a year and my mom still hasn't mailed my manga and manhwa back 😭 I know she's busy. She said she keeps forgetting about it. I'll have to ask her about it again. She said she'd mail them last month.

I need to restart 'In the Deep' again and get up since season 3 is now here. I might make this one of the series that I am reading for October.

My first vampire pick was going to be Sugi (from Fangs), but I only have the physical manga and there aren't many pictures of him to choose from online.

If you see this, post a vampire that isn't Dracula.

The character, Jongwu, from the manhwa 'A Lovely Meal'. Jongwu has black hair and eyes and is wearing a grey hoodie with white stripes. In the background is a peach to white gradient with white flowers with in a park pink gradient outline. The word blush in pink lettering and a white outline is to the right of Jongwu.

What does this mean for their non-kakao exclusive licenses? Will the book be stuck under their contract until March? Will they release them from that contract? Or will those books be stuck on tapas for 6mo?

Even though I was rambling earlier, I do genuinely want to get feedback on what people think. I wish I could talk to people in person, but no one around me is as invested in omegaverse or other -verse like I am. This is the only real place I can talk about these things without getting weird looks.

I was reading the comments while reading through Bloodbound and there was at least one person who shipped Brian with Jenny (a regular person). I can't see this working out for a lot of reasons: 1) Due to the nature of Brian's job, she would need to be lied to about a lot. 2) Brian's job/role as an

Thank you Tapas for giving us yet another great example of why digital "purchases" that don't come with DRM-free downloads are no purchases at all, just rentals with an undefined time period :) I just loooove spending hundreds to thousands on a digital platform only to have you take it all away!

Screenshot from the Tapas shutdown "Ink and Refunds" section, with highlight on the last two paragraphs that basically say "Can my purchases be transferred to other Kakao-owned services? No. Can I get refunds? No." You just lose everything you've ever paid for on Tapas!

Cælestis 🌜⭐ @starmoonboi.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

So Tapas announces we can no longer get more ink... the very same fucking day they're making the announcement! People responding were nice enough to share that are ink is not transferrable nor is it refundable. Fuck corporations. They ruin everything.

I was torn between 'Drugless Intercourse' and 'Knights in the Night' by Norikazu Akira. I feel that both mangaka don't have nearly enough of their works available into English. A lot of my favorite mangaka have a lot of older works which have a lesser chance of being licensed into English.

010

Cælestis 🌜⭐ @starmoonboi.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

My final #RentaRecs is 'Drugless Intercourse' by Enzou. Pheromone syndrome is an allergy that causes sexual arousal in people, regardless of gender, who are attracted to the infected person. I need the sequel to this so badly!! I love Enzou sensei's work in general. I'd love to see more on Renta~.

Cælestis 🌜⭐ @starmoonboi.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

My second #RentaRecs is Chew Me Up And Teach Me About Love by Pokerou. If you like animal hybrids, beastmen, etc. I'd give this one a go. I remember being so sad when it ended. It's been too long since I've last read it too.

150

Cælestis 🌜⭐ @starmoonboi.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

First #RentaRecs for me is 'Day-care Pick Up' by Haiji Kurusu. It is the sequel to Dirty Daddy Wolf In Sheep's Clothing. I haven't read this one in a while. It has a very sweet storyline. I'd say that you can read this without having read the prequel.

I took a little walk up to the plaza near my house. On the way back I saw some mushrooms growing in peoples front yards. We had the nor'easter recently so it makes sense that they are popping up. I saw some cute squirrels climbing up tree too.

Yiggybean refunded me for the second volume of LOVE MURDER BASKETBALL. I am wondering if something happened with it. They wouldn't have refunded me if it was still set to be released. I never saw any info for the second volume on TOKYOPOP so I'm thinking something happened.

I got re-assessed for Autism and ADHD. I had to do some paperwork for the assessment which I sent in the other day. I got diagnosed in the "before times" when Asperger's Syndrome was still as thing (2007). I wonder what the assessment will say about me. It's a waiting game now.

I hate to be impatient and everything, but I have been wondering for a while now when Mullebooks was going to bring out the next volume of Codename Anastasia. I haven't thought about it for a while, but remembering that the manhwa is being put into print has got me thinking about it again.

110

Cælestis 🌜⭐ @starmoonboi.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I restarted Bloodbound after neglecting it for a while. I try to keep up with as many of the manhwa as I can but there are always ones that slip through the crap or I don't particularly feel like reading at the moment. I'm only 10 episodes in so I haven't gotten that far yet.

I don't even know why I bother trying to maintain my streak on Lezhin. I always forget to check in a day and it's immediately broken. I am thinking about just giving up. FFS, I had checked in majority of the month, but ONE DAY is enough to mess everything up. I hate it.

Cælestis 🌜⭐ @starmoonboi.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Really hating how I'm being subscribed to receive so many political newsletters, updates, text messages and whatnot without my knowledge or consent. Why am I getting emails about Gavin Newsom? No wonder I am getting so many emails and texts. That's probably why I've been getting spam calls too.

I finally finished the spread I started for Define the Relationship. I can't believe it took me this long!

Two page entry in BL journal about the novel Define the Relationship by Flona. One the left page is a picture from manhwa adaption showing the two main characters: Ash (left) and Karlyle (right) standing side by side. One the right page are the covers of volume one and two of the novel. Volume one is in the upper left hand corner and volume two is in the lower right hand corner. In the center is black and white grid washi tape. There are illustrations of roses (both pages) and lavender (right page) near the pictures.

I tried using Fireshot for Tapas and thought it was getting everything. The funny thing is that the preview of the pdf is fine. I can see some of it. When I open up the file, it's completely blank. It makes sense if there are safe guards in place. That just means we lose everything we bought.

Readers want creators to create, but at the same time some try to limit their creativity. If you don't like what you're reading, you can stop at any time. No one forces you to continue. It's entirely up to you how much you choose to engage with the story. Don't harass creators.
