Ocean 🌻📚 @starlightvns.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

i DID finish gore screaming show and i!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did not like that one. i am not trusting ANYONE who says 'oh the main routes are boring but the TRUE ending is a masterpiece' ever Again.

i have not been very active here lately and that's because one of my hyperfixations has gripped me by the throat and i haven't played very much visual novels since because all i can think of is my weird little blorbos.

I like Noelle's essays because she takes weird ecchi and eroge and looks at it with earnest and heartfelt media criticism, often relating it back to how it intersects with her own identity and trauma. I make jokes about working in anime porn but I sincerely believe in this genre and she does too.

i dont have to explain myself #dmmd #clearao #クリ蒼

panel of clear, looking nervous and embarrassed. he says: "hey, aoba-san. so, uhm... i've been having this thought, that uhm... excites me..."

panel of aoba and clear. aoba says: "what is it? don't worry, you can tell me." he thinks: "i'm sure its not that weird."
he is imagining choking clear, guessing that this is what clear will suggest.

clear, blushing profusely: "promise you wont hate me...?"
he is imagining aoba wetting his pants.

cw omorashi for anyone filtering it out

i feel like that chapter is one of the weakest in the series tbqh. the gag is drawn out too much and it takes WAYY to long to get to the actual horror. it's WORTH it, especially because it lays groundwork for one of the best chapters in the series, but god. it could have been way shorter.

akane's route heavily misled me into thinking that the gore in this game wasn't going to be too bad only for aoi and kiika's routes to just smack me upside the head with some of the most horrific visuals and writing i have ever experienced. (positive)

Ocean 🌻📚 @starlightvns.bsky.social · 02/11/2025

i found yoshiki to be the most interesting part of aoi's route which makes me almost wish he were a romance option, but alas we can't have problematic yaoi in this horrific eroguro visual novel.

okay, i finished the main 3 heroines routes in gore screaming show. just gotta do the unlocked routes now. i will say that i REALLY liked the common route, found akane's route boring, aoi's route Mostly boring, and enjoyed kiika's route.

usually VNDB does a good job at saying if a VN contains scat because they just looooooove tagging all the fetishes in the world but for some reason this entry just does not have that Tagged.

still working my way through Gore Screaming Show and like. i'm pretty glad that thanks to VNs, i have been thoroughly desensitized to all sort of things bc this VN does not give a Warning For The Enema I have just witnessed

why does she get nips and he doesn't. what's the Point.

Gore Screaming Show CG of a girl with short blue hair and a boy with slightly long brown hiar. They're both sitting up on a bed, naked, with a sheet covering their waists. The light from the window behind them gently illuminates them. They're looking at each other softly and clasping their hands together.
For some reason, the male character does not have nipples.

I was confused about this too at first ! However, in the original Japanese text, it is indeed "loli." The mod uses the voice acting from the console version and the console version did change some of the text from the original. (censorship reasons, maybe?) So "loli" was changed to "bishoujo."

if you feel like giving me a screenshot of what is missing in your CG gallery, i could probably help figure out how to get it ! it hasn't been TOO long since i finished NTY so i could probably remember my path on obtaining the more annoying ones.

i struggled a lot with this too!!! for me the issue was ryu's glasses variants but ESPECIALLY the two h-scenes w/ ryu after haru admits to him who he is. there's a LOT of variants for those scenes because of ryu's glasses and choosing whether to have them on or not carries over to the second scene.

Ocean 🌻📚 @starlightvns.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

the mod makes it look more like the japanese console releases, but with a LOT of added customization. you can choose between ADV and NVL style, enable voice acting, change the BGM, and choose between MG, original, and console sprites. you can play around and see what the best experience is for you!

Ocean 🌻📚 @starlightvns.bsky.social · 05/10/2025

i recommend using the 07th mod w/ the MG version tbh! 07th-mod.com i found the official english release unmodded to be a little hard to read as they do not clearly differentiate who is talking in scenes and in scenes where 5 or more characters are all talking together, it can get confusing haha.

I haven't been hooked on a VN from the start like this since...Paradise and YKMET?? Maybe it's because I've been so busy lately, but I keep dropping or pausing VNs or just playing short ones that don't really stick with me.
