my piece for room no 9 zine 🚬😁 @rn9zine.bsky.social

(seiji pulls out a cigarette, lights and smokes it)
-Sighhh...
-Don't they taste bad? Your cigarettes.
-They're awful. Want to try?
-...Uh. Sure?

(daichi takes the cigarette seiji was smoking, inhales and starts coughing)
-Augh!! (cough) Jesus christ, that sucks!
-Right?
-(cough cough) Yeah, why the hell do you keep doing it??
-Actually, I was planning to quit. Here.
-Gasp!! Your lighter? Trying to pass your addiction onto me?! Azumi-kun, you fiend!

-Yeah. Hold on to it for me. At least, until we're out of here.
-I-I mean, sure, but lemme give you something too.
(daichi puts his necklace around seiji's neck)
-...Your ring? My answer's still no, you know.
-I know, that's not what this is about. Just... keep it safe, for me?

And when we get out of here-
(daichi stands alone, necklace swaying in the breeze, and clutches tightly onto seiji's lighter)
