Hey folks. In total honesty my tour is NOT selling well. I’ve sold 30 tickets in a 400 seater in Birmingham, and not much more elsewhere. If you like musical comedy, if you like standup, then please come see my show! And spread the word! The Rachel Parris Songbook tour starts in Nov! Link in bio! 🎶

We still think of wildfires as something that happen to other people, in other places. But the world is changing, and the wildfire in Suffolk is a symptom of that. This is how average annual temperature in Dunwich has changed since 1940, from here: era-explorer.climate.copernicus.eu?lat=52.28&ln...

..whereas we had to stop photocopying one year as we ran out of budget - and years ago we went through redundancy procedures and had to cut staff and increase class size. We would have had new buildings had the 'building for schools' not been scrapped when a certain 'mike' got his hands on education

We used to just off 'double' science and didn't have any issue with students progressing to A level. The only advantage these days is that some topics jn triple are repeated at A level so they have a head start. I did wonder if the new review would go for just one route (either 2 or 3) for parity

As long as you only have one component in a circuit its sometimes fine... as soon as you have more than one then physics often breaks. KS3 students building parallel circuits often enter parallel realities!

A wide, panoramic view of a dense field of countless tiny, pinpoint stars filling the entire frame like fine dust. Wispy, faint, grayish-brown clouds of galactic cirrus drift across the scene, creating a subtle, patchy texture over the dark background. Several brighter, prominent stars stand out across the field, most notably a large, brilliant blue star on the upper right surrounded by a soft glowing halo, along with a few other scattered bright blue and warm orange stars.A close-up view of a dense star field centered on a bright, face-on spiral galaxy with a glowing yellowish-white core and delicate, swirling arms. Two diffuse, oval-shaped yellowish galaxies sit near the center and upper right, while a tilted spiral galaxy is visible in the upper left. This is bad for climate change because "animal agriculture is responsible for 12-20% of planet-heating emissions and is a leading cause of biodiversity loss". You don't have to give up meat to help, just cut down, which is easy to do if you eat food like this: alomshaha.com/wp-content/u...
