one of the cats has started limping, so that's rather distressing. my folks aren't likely to take them to a vet for anything that isn't literally a heart attack, so I guess we're just gonna be god awful pet owners and there's really nothing I can do about it....

imo the closer to deity status a creature is the more they have to adhere to universal balance bs. devils MUST be lawful evil. they don't hold to contracts because of their personality, they do it because they have to. they could maybe escape it, but it'd take some multi-plane altering crazy magic.

undead can be plainly evil because they're usually created by an evil person or force. devils and demons are evil because they're embodiment of universal forces beyond their control. orcs and goblins shouldn't be evil unless they're being forged in orc pits or something like lotr.

what was particularly frustrating about it was, a) (at the time) I probably would have said they could use it, b) I already had a much better version of the picture that I made after that one, and c) it was honestly kind of shitty, and they easily could have made their own in like five minutes.

read an article that said plants might have an incredibly primitive form of "sight". idk if I believe it, but seems not unreasonable. they essentially have photoreceptors, and I don't have a better explanation for those weird mimic leaves.....

back in like 2010 I named my two main WoW toons Derpthor and Derplederp. dumb as hell, but I'm not like massively embarrassed. it is kinda screwing with my immersion during cutscenes though. idk if it's bad enough for me to pay actual money to change it, but i've considered it.

I'm not really versed in MTG lore, but it seems like it'd be cool if Muldrotha reanimated Lord Windgrace, and it was the "undead" commander i've been wanting. either that or LW is animated by an evil urborg necromancer as an artifact for maximum irony. (apparently in lore Windgrace hates artifacts)
