Always shocked when a video game presentation doesn’t end with a “And we’ve got one last thing…”. Just seems like a very easy crowd-pleaser tactic.

Happy Pride, everyone ✨🌈 I'm ace panromantic. Enjoy my new painting. || Protoplanetary Space Pod || acrylic markers on wood

Orcas swim in a surreal protoplanetary disk among space and stars. They're ready to destroy yachts but thankfully yachts don't exist yet so they're having a lovely time.

Some thoughts about this from the other site, specifically about Jorge: TV animation is in a really bad state right now between the rise of streaming, AI, and shorter attention spans. Very, very hard to get anything greenlit right now, and I promise I understand the fear that comes with that; but…

Been replaying Celeste lately and it’s crazy how the harder challenges seem so impossible at first, but through repetition alone you feel them out slowly but surely. That’s the good stuff.

Hello everyone, I’m very happy to announce that I just finished the first day in my new role as Art Director for Wizards of the Coast, specifically MtG. This is still all so surreal, but I couldn’t be happier to be here, and I’m so excited for what’s to come! #WOTCStaff

Been reading a chapter of ‘Neuromancer’ every day, and it’s so, so good. It’s also funny to see so much of the modern language of the cyberpunk genre just within the first few chapters. Art by Juan Gimenez.

I actually would love this film to not be as action-heavy, or at least have the action as a backdrop in the world, and not the focus. To me, some of my favorite Elden Ring moments are the quieter ones.

Still playing through Cyberpunk, now in the DLC. While I actually quite like the main story, it's not paced the best, and sometimes feels unfocused. In contrast, the DLC feels tight and to the point, and I've constantly muttered "hell yeah" during missions. Also it remains extremely pretty.

CYBERPUNK-98 Hope I got the palette limitations right!

A scene from Cyberpunk 2077 rendered in a style of PC-98 visual novels. Anime-looking Meredith Stout is talking to V after the Flathead mission. The image is limited to 16 colours and features a large, old-fashioned UI framing the illustration.

It’s funny how Nintendo games these days are like “you know that one song from an older game you love? Well what if it was now remixed in a slightly jazzy style?” and they get my ass every time.

Bluesky see if y’all can help me. I remember following an artist a long time ago that did digital hyperrealistic pop art, often featuring celebrities. I believe she also had a series of paintings featuring humanoid variations of the planets of our solar system. Can anyone help out?

Always hard to end any story, but imho the worse possible outcome is when the ending elicits a carefree shrug. #csm

Reference vs Art I like to post this occasionally as part of my "you can learn 3D really really badly and it can still be useful for your process" agenda

An extremely primitive 3D model reference for the following image; it looks like something from 1992

Very vague spoilers for JJK but As much as I enjoyed the last arc of JJK, this week’s episode reminded me that the series was at its best when it was mostly a bunch of scrappy fighters that lived in a word of two talking WMD’s.

I don’t think JJK is amazing, but it’s without a doubt the most fun I’ve ever had reading a shonen week to week. I went into every chapter never knowing what to expect.

Most of these ingredients will last months to a year. Even then there’s often seasoning packets/sauce jars that do well enough if you don’t wish to buy individual ingredients.
