Pleased to share our latest work entitled "Visible-Light-Controlled Formation of G-Quadruplexes", together with Prof. Jorge J. Cabrera-Trujillo and @davidgrlab.bsky.social, now published in Organic Letters @pubs.acs.org. Here's a short thread about it! (1/8) pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/...

Visible-Light-Controlled Formation of G-Quadruplexes
Guanine (G)-quadruplexes are robust supramolecular assemblies formed by the π-stacking of hydrogen-bonded G-quartets around a metal cation. We report visible light control of G-quadruplex formation th...

What happens when supramolecular chirality is pushed far from equilibrium — in water? In our latest study, we chemically “fuel” supramolecular polymers based on PDI derivatives using a redox cycle. Check the preprint in ChemRXiv chemrxiv.org/doi/full/10....

Chemically fueled amplification of supramolecular asymmetry with double helical inversion | ChemRxiv
Amplification of asymmetry in supramolecular polymers is typically studied under equilibrium conditions in apolar solvents, while examples in aqueous media and under non-equilibrium conditions remain scarce. Here we demonstrate chemically fueled ...

What if complexity was already built in — just waiting to be released? In our latest @science.org, we show how COFs can selectively excise organic macrocycles with precision. A chemistry that reveals what’s already there. Clip-off Chemistry. Link: www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
